The service
Clarvyn is provided by Roam Labs to a school under an agreement with that school. Staff and parents use it under these terms.
Your account
Accounts belong to a person, not a role. Do not share your login. Tell the school immediately if you think someone else has used it.
The parent forum
You post in the forum under your real name, with a badge showing what we have verified. Do not post anything you would not put your name to: no abuse, no defamation of a school or a member of staff, and nothing that identifies another person’s child.
Forum posts are visible to other app users. They are not published on the open web unless you specifically agree to it for that post. That agreement is given per post, deliberately, and is never applied to your existing posts by a setting. You may report a post, and we may remove one.
Payments between school and parent
Clarvyn records fees, invoices and receipts. It is a record of what a school says is owed and paid. Any dispute about a fee is between you and the school.
Changes
We will tell schools before these terms change in a way that affects them.
